WEDDING FAQS

What is the rental fee for Covey Creek Farm and what is included?

Check out our pricing and packages page.

How many guests can the wedding barn accommodate?

The venue can accommodate a maximum of 160 guests for a wedding.  We limit the guest count in order to allow enough space for a ceremony in case of rain without having to flip the venue.

What dates are available?

You can find all of our available dates here.

How much is required to reserve a date? Are payment plans available?

Upon signing the contract, a date reservation fee of $1,000 is due to reserve the venue for your desired date (this will be applied to the total rental fee). The remaining balance is billed in monthly installments to be paid in full 60 – 90 days before the event.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, check, or electronic bank transfer (ACH) are preferred, but credit cards are also accepted with a 3% convenience fee.

How do I reserve my date?

To start the booking process, fill out this form.  We will start the contract process from there.  The first person to contact us requesting to book a date and pay the booking fee will be first in line to book it.

If you haven’t already, we ask that you book a tour before requesting a date.

Can I just stop by the venue?

With the exception of public open houses, visits to the farm are by appointment only as the gate is kept locked and the venue is not visible from Cloud Springs Rd.  Please schedule a time to visit.

What additional services are available with the wedding barn rental?

You can see our service package options on the investments page.  We can also customize service packages to meet your specific needs.

Can we cater ourselves?

Because of the many pitfalls of DIY catering, we require couples to hire a professional licensed and insured catering service (or restaurant that caters) to provide the food for the event.

Caterers must provide “full service”. This includes setup, monitoring, and cleanup of the food, prep kitchen, and food service areas within the venue. Caterer is also responsible for taking out the first round of trash after dinner service.

Alternatively, if the caterer you have chosen does not offer full service, you must hire catering staff to fulfill the above duties.

Is alcohol allowed?

Yes! If you choose to serve alcohol at your event, you’ll need to purchase a bartending package from us.   You can provide your own alcohol.  We allow beer, wine, and hard liquor but shots of alcohol will not be served at the venue.  Pricing is listed on the investments page.

Do you require event insurance?

Yes, event insurance is key to protect you from any financial harm throughout your wedding process.  The cost is around $225, depending on the size of your party and options chosen.

What if I live in TN? What's the marriage license process?

Tennessee residents. may still obtain a marriage license in TN, even though the ceremony will take place in GA.
